Aikido
Aikido is a style that applies body
movement, joint locks, and pressure points to control attackers. The
aikidoist blends with an attacker’s movement to use the strength and
momentum of the attacker to power the technique. The brutal nature of
the ancient techniques have been altered to create a style to stop
attackers without causing permanent injury.
Grappling Defense
Whether you have studied another martial
art or have no training, grappling styles offer a layer of defense.
Many schools of martial art spend time training their students to
prevent someone getting a hold of them or in too close. This is where
many of our techniques begin.
